Memory carved in stone

They stand at crossroads, hidden in tall grass, in forests and at the edges of fields. Most of us pass them every day without noticing them — and yet it is they who form the memory of the landscape. The new section “SMALL MONUMENTS” is dedicated to passers-by and pilgrims who keep their eyes open and are able to pause and take notice.
